Solo artist / musician / singer / songwriter Barbara Roy (nee Gaskins) first release came in 1963 as half of Barbara And Brenda.  Following a short time as a session musician Barbara was asked to join NY outfit Ecstasy Passion & Pain as lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter.

Barbara went on to record as a solo artist through the 80s and was a member of US supergroup ‘Togetherness’ alongside Will Downing, Rochelle Fleming, Loleatta Holloway, Toney Lee, Ray Simpson and Fonda Rae
