The Trammps, hailing from Philadelphia, were one of the first disco bands. They had major successes with Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart, Hold Back The Night and, of course, the grammy award winning Disco Inferno.

Here, Robert Upchurch recounts his life in music, including making the transition from being a solo artist to becoming a member of one of the hottest selling disco acts of the 70s, a legacy which he keeps alive today:
