Thelma Jones burst onto the NYC scene with a smash hit Never Leave Me which launched her career with Barry records before moving to Muscle Shoals after Barry records’ demise.

Her track ‘Salty Tears’ brought Thelma to the attention of the mighty Columbia records where she released her eponymous LP including tracks written by Leon Ware, Sam Dees and Harold Payne among others.
